01

What a session involves

A clinician assesses the treatment region and uses the device according to its applicable instructions. Sessions are generally office based and do not involve injections or incisions.

02

Where it may fit

Clinical evaluation may consider musculoskeletal discomfort involving the back, neck, knees, shoulders, feet or tendons. Evidence varies by diagnosis, device settings and outcome measured. The fact that a device has FDA clearance does not mean it is proven or cleared for every condition.

03

Safety and expectations

Eye protection and device-specific precautions are important. Discuss pregnancy, malignancy near the treatment area, medications, photosensitivity and other medical factors with the treating team. Relief is not guaranteed.
